From January 25 to January 29, 2021, an online meeting of the Grandholders of the Erasmus+ program projects is taking place at the Auezov UCU. The plenary session was opened by Mr. Ralph Raders, Head of the Executive Agency for Education, Audiovisual Media and Culture (EACEA). As it was announced earlier, for the first time in the history of the university, within the framework of the Erasmus+ component of the program “Capacity Building in Higher Education” (PPVE), the University became a Grantholder of the KAZDUAL project – “Introduction of the Dual System in Kazakhstan”. The organizers of the event Iskakova A. T. – Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Internationalization, Project Coordinator, Khasenova L.A. – Director of the Center for the Bologna Process and Academic Mobility, project contact person. Partners from KazNPU arrived at the meeting. Abaya, Sapargalieva B. O. – postdoctoral student of the University, project coordinator from Abai KazNPU, Igisinov T. K. – Head of the Commercialization Department, the key person of the university project. The online format involves KarU im. Buketova- Karstina S.G. – Head of the Department of Postgraduate Education, Project Coordinator from the University, as well as the European partner from the University of Magdeburg, Mr. Marcel Masman, employee of the International Department, coordinator of the university project. For reference: Within the framework of the Erasmus + program, the European Union supports the development of cooperation between universities of the program countries and universities of partner countries, to which Kazakhstan belongs. A special place among the components of the program belongs to Action 2 “Increasing the potential of higher education” (PPVE). This year, two universities of Kazakhstan act as coordinators and grantees of two projects of the PPVO – these are Al-Farabi KAZNU and Auezov South University. In 2020, three universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the first time entered the consortium of Erasmus+ PPVO projects, this is KazNPU named after. Abaya, AUNG im. Utebaeva, KRMU.
